In the past, most brands in this sector came from the building materials and flooring industries. Now, the home appliance industry brings several advantages to the table. First, these brands have strong reputations and are more established than many in the plumbing industry. Second, they have advanced marketing strategies and skilled professionals. Third, combining kitchen appliances with plumbing products creates a comprehensive home solution, which is a compelling concept. However, plumbing stores still serve as an ideal channel for integrating large home appliances. As a result, many appliance brands treat plumbing products as accessories rather than core offerings, which is one reason why they struggle in this space. Second, there is a surge in investment. Wealthy individuals from regions like Guangdong, Fujian, and Zhejiang are pouring large amounts of capital into the industry. Second, the industry will grow significantly, with annual growth rates reaching around 40% and increasing its share in the furniture and building materials sector. Concepts such as direct operation, franchising, full-home solutions, and low-end chain models will lead to the rise of major players who dominate the market.
