Equipment is inspected and maintained prior to production to ensure product quality. It includes the following aspects:
1. The granulation and the magnet on the upper part should be cleaned once per shift. If it cannot be cleaned, the iron in the feed may enter the ring mold of the granulator, which will affect the normal operation of the granulator.
2. Monitor the wear of the ring mold and the pressure roller: the wear of the pressure roller may affect the production capacity; the excessive wear of the compression mold reduces the effective thickness of the compression mold, which will affect the particle quality.
3. Timing the press roller to ensure the normal operation of the press roller.
4. Check if there is any backlog of material in the cooler and check if the cooling plate or screen surface inside it is damaged.
5. The crusher roller should be inspected regularly: if the roller corrugated teeth become dull, it will reduce the crushing capacity and reduce the product quality.
6. Check whether there are holes, blockages and adhesions in the grading screen of each class, and the screen surface is intact without damage to achieve the correct particle classification effect.
7. Check the granulator cutter: The cutter is too blunt and will increase the feed powder.
8. Check the steam separator of the steam to ensure the quality of the steam entering the conditioner. Otherwise it will affect the annual production capacity of the light and the pellet quality of the feed.
9. When refueling, check whether the buffer bin and the finished product bin above the granulator are completely emptied to prevent mixing.
Second, quenching and tempering technology
Pigs and pigs are generally sweaty corn with high starch content and low crude fiber content. Therefore, the structure and strength of the pellet feed depend on the quenching and tempering technology, and the raw materials are softened by heat and steam to improve the granulation performance of the feed. During the quenching and tempering process, the starch of the feed will be partially gelatinized, and the gelatinized starch acts as a binder to increase the pellet formation rate of the feed.
The quenching and tempering time of the general conditioner is 10~20 seconds. The prolonged quenching time can be: 1. Increase starch gelatinization; 2. Increase feed temperature and reduce harmful microorganisms; 3. Improve production efficiency, improve pellet quality, and improve vapor pressure. When it is low, heat and water can be dissipated more quickly. In order to improve the quenching and tempering effect, the vapor pressure must be controlled. Generally, the production of pellet feed can be adjusted according to the actual operation needs, the feed moisture is 16~18%, and the temperature is 75~85 degrees.
Third, the correct adjustment of the pressure roller gap can extend the service life of the ring die and the pressure roller, and improve production efficiency and particle quality. The adjustment requirements are as follows:
Adjust the pressure roller until the ring mold rotates at a low speed, the pressure roller can only touch the high point of the ring mold. This gap minimizes metal contact between the ring die and the pressure roller, reduces wear, and there is sufficient pressure to rotate the roller.
Fourth, the pulverized particle size of granulated raw materials
The particle size requirement for the pulverization of the raw material should be determined according to the particle size of the granulated product The particle size requirement is too fine, the processing speed is low, and the productivity is low; the particle size is too coarse, the particle forming rate is lowered, and the particles are easily broken. The particle size of the feed can be adjusted according to the use. For example, the grain size of the chicken feed can be larger, and then 15~20 mesh; the grain size of the fish and shrimp feed is finer, generally 40~60 mesh; the granularity of some special feeds is more demanding. High, 80~120 mesh.
V. Requirements for granules
1. Particle forming rate For the sieve mesh granule feed of less than 20% of the particle size, if the particle size of the pellet feed is 5.00 mm, it is sieved with a 4.00 mm screen. The percentage of the oversize can represent the rate of formation of the granules. The pellet forming rate of livestock and poultry feed is required to be greater than 95%, and the pellet forming rate of fish and shrimp feed is required to be greater than 98%;
2. Particle length: The length of the feed pellets with a diameter of 4 mm or less is 2 to 5 times of the particle diameter, and the length of the feed pellets having a diameter of 4 mm or more is 1.5 to 3 times the particle diameter.
