The export volume of processing trade is dominant, and the value of general trade exports is leading. From January to August this year, Liaoning Province exported 7612 machine tools by processing trade, down 7.1%, accounting for 60.2% of the machine tool exports during the same period, valued at 13.97 million US dollars, down 72.9%. In the same period, 4597 sets of machine tools were exported by general trade. 60.1%, valued at 48.44 million US dollars, down 66.8%, accounting for 72.9% of the total value of machine tool exports during the same period.
Asia is the main consumer market for machine tools in Liaoning Province. It has absorbed 8,742 machine tools in Liaoning Province, down 25.6%, accounting for 69.1% of all machine tool exports. Among them, the number of exports to Japan was 5,247, an increase of 8.7%. In the same period, 2,149 machine tools were exported to Africa, an increase of 52.7%.
Foreign-invested enterprises have a large number of exports, and private enterprises have higher value products. Foreign-invested enterprises exported 7,736 machine tools, down 6.6%, accounting for 61.1% of the total, but its value was 14.61 million US dollars, down 76.4%, accounting for only 22% of the total value. Private enterprises exported 3,577 machine tools, down 37.6%, with a value of US$27.29 million, down 51.9%, accounting for 41.1% of the total. State-owned enterprises exported 1,337 machine tools, a decrease of 77.9%, valued at 24.35 million US dollars, down 70.5%.
