Electro-ion pump

Referred to the electric pump, also known as the ion pump. Active ions in the initiative, such as when the cells of sodium potassium, there is no substantial movement of the membrane on both sides of the charge, but only in the sodium excretion, the positive charge was excreted with the cell membrane potential more towards negative. The mechanism by which the membrane potential is changed by such active operation is called an ion-pump. When the small nerve cells and fine nerve fibers after repeated activities produce a super-polar potential changes because the pump is electrogenic because it can move into the sodium discharged. Electro-ion pump induced changes in membrane potential can be characterized by the following points: There is no balance potential; without increased membrane resistance; case of polymallow glycosides disappear and so on.
