The complete technical system for crankshaft non-circular grinding has won the highest award in the mechanical industry.

Recently, the 2014 National Machinery Industry's highest technology award - China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award special award was announced, "Crankshaft flexible, precise, efficient grinding processing key technology and complete sets of equipment" won, which is also the first time China's machine tool industry won the award .

The project was undertaken by Beijing No. 2 Machine Tool Works Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Beiji Machine Tool”), and has been supported by the National 863 Program and the National Science and Technology Major Project.

“The project team grinds a sword for 7 years”, Wang Bo, general manager of the second project of the project, introduced the precision and high-efficiency grinding requirements of the crankshaft. Through technological innovation, he successfully developed a complete set of equipment for crankshaft finishing and agile production line. From the crankshaft follow-up (cut point tracking) grinding related theory, method, process, functional components, complete machine manufacturing to the application of the complete technical system, the realization of the crankshaft non-circular grinding complete sets of equipment technology research and development and application of a major breakthrough It is the first in China.

In addition to breaking through key technologies, Beiji Machine Tool also carried out technical research work on digital design, machine tool structure analysis and optimization, processing status monitoring and information management technology of Tsinghua University and other related university enterprises, and finally made the grinding efficiency relative to The traditional eccentric clamp type crankshaft grinder is increased by 4 times.

The complete set of equipment can meet the crankshaft processing requirements of various types of internal combustion engines such as automobiles and ships, and provides powerful technical equipment support for promoting the development of technology and industry in China's internal combustion engines and other related fields. The series of technologies created by the project can also be extended to non-circular precision and high-efficiency grinding in the fields of automotive camshafts and robotic eccentric shafts. Based on this technology, Beiji Machine Tool has successfully developed CNC camshaft grinding machines, etc. The results have been successfully applied in automobiles, ships, diesel locomotives, military, industrial robots, air conditioner refrigerator compressors and other industries.

The successful development of crankshaft grinding equipment has made China the fourth country to master follow-up grinding technology and equipment after Britain, Germany and Japan.

Application

(1) Fiberglass mesh for marble reinforcement
