Magnetic pumps are widely used in computer water cooling systems, solar fountains, desktop fountains, water dispensers, tea makers and other cooling systems, bathroom products. The magnetic pump can be divided into: miniature AC water pump, brushed DC water pump, brushless motor type DC water pump, brushless DC magnetic drive water pump. The magnetic pump consists of a pump, a magnetic actuator and a motor. The key component magnetic actuator consists of an outer magnetic rotor, an inner magnetic rotor and a non-magnetic isolation sleeve. When the motor drives the outer magnetic rotor to rotate, the magnetic field can penetrate the air gap and the non-magnetic material, and drive the inner magnetic rotor connected with the impeller to rotate synchronously to realize the non-contact transmission of the power, and convert the dynamic seal into a static seal.
Precautions when using the magnetic pump:
1. Prevent particles from entering:
(1) Ferromagnetic impurities and particles are not allowed to enter the magnetic actuator and the bearing friction pair;
(2) After transporting the medium which is easy to crystallize or precipitate, it should be flushed in time (after pumping, pump the water into the pump chamber, drain it after 1 minute) to ensure the service life of the sliding bearing;
(3) When transporting media containing solid particles, it should be filtered at the inlet of the pump flow tube.
2. Prevent demagnetization
(1) The magnetic moment cannot be designed too small;
(2) It should be operated under the specified temperature conditions, and the medium temperature is strictly prohibited. A platinum resistance temperature sensor can be installed on the outer surface of the magnetic pump isolation sleeve to detect the temperature rise of the annulus region, so that the alarm or shutdown occurs when the temperature exceeds the limit.
3. Prevent dry friction
(1) It is strictly forbidden to idling;
(2) It is strictly forbidden to evacuate the medium;
(3) When the outlet valve is closed, the continuous running time of the pump shall not exceed 2 minutes to prevent the magnetic actuator from overheating and failing;
(4) Not available in stressed systems.
