First, high-quality steel is forged to ensure durability. Then, the rough shaping begins, followed by thickness repair and drilling of the center hole. Next, the parts are roughly scraped to achieve flatness and proper alignment. After that, forming milling takes place, where the teeth, back, and edges are shaped using a milling machine. The next step is fine scraping, which ensures a smooth surface and accurate dimensions. Once the components are formed, they are matched together, and the bevel angle is milled. The cutting edge is then sharpened, and the parts are pressure-riveted. The fitter type adjusts the cutting edge position, while the grinding type flattens the wheel and shapes the profile. The head shot process ensures the handle is flat and the mouth gap is properly adjusted. Following this, the vise undergoes heat treatment to achieve a hardness of at least HRC 42, ensuring long-lasting performance. The black whole stage enhances flexibility and swing, and both sides are finely ground. The cutting edge then receives a high-frequency heat treatment, reaching a hardness of HRC 48–50 for optimal cutting ability. Afterward, the vise is polished for a smooth finish and oiled before packing. It has four primary functions: the toothed mouth can tighten or loosen nuts; the knife edge is used to cut rubber or plastic insulation from soft wires, as well as to cut wires; the shear mouth is suitable for cutting hard metal wires like steel cables. Additionally, the insulated plastic handle is rated for 500V or higher, allowing safe use when cutting live wires. This tool is widely used for handling nails, broken nails, and iron wires, making it an essential part of any toolbox.
