Precautions before using high-altitude seat belts

1. Every time you use a seat belt, make sure to check the labels and certifications. Inspect the webbing for cracks, ensure the stitching is secure, and check that all metal components are intact, without rust or damage. The safety lanyard should be attached to the connecting ring for proper function.

2. Seat belts should be used with the attachment point higher than the user’s body to prevent swinging, collisions, or contact with sharp objects. Avoid exposing them to open flames or high heat sources during use.

3. During work, always fasten the Hooks and buckles securely to the anchorage point to ensure stability and safety throughout the operation.

4. When using a seat belt in cold environments, be cautious as the material may become stiff and more prone to breaking. Take extra care when handling it in low temperatures.

5. Frequent use of safety lanyards requires regular visual inspections. If any signs of wear, fraying, or damage are noticed, replace the lanyard immediately. Pay attention to the loops and ensure they are properly secured to avoid failure.

6. Never tie knots in the seat belt, as this can cause the safety rope to snap during an impact. Always attach the safety hook to the connecting ring, not directly to the lanyard, to prevent cutting or failure during a fall.

7. After two years of use, conduct sampling inspections based on the quantity purchased. Perform a static load test on the frame and an impact test on the lanyard. If no breakage occurs, the seat belt may continue to be used. Any unqualified product must be discarded. Before using, always replace the lanyard with a new one, and ensure the sleeve is properly installed.

8. Store seat belts in dry, well-ventilated areas. Avoid exposure to high temperatures, fire, strong acids, strong bases, or sharp objects. Do not expose them to direct sunlight. When transporting, avoid using tools with hooks and protect them from rain and sun.

9. Keep your seat belt clean. You can gently wash it in warm water with mild soap, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to air dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals or excessive force during cleaning.

10. Never remove any parts from the seat belt. If replacement is needed, only use certified and approved components to maintain safety standards.

11. The typical lifespan of a seat belt is 3 to 5 years. If any abnormalities are detected, discard it immediately. Regular inspections should be conducted, and testing should be performed every six months to a year. If any damage or deterioration is found, stop using it right away to ensure operational safety.
