Standard Technology for Self-Operated Flow Control Valves
This standard applies to multi-function water pump control valves with a nominal pressure range of PN1.0MPa to PN4.0MPa and a nominal diameter from DN50mm to DN1200mm. The following are the technical requirements outlined in this standard:
1. Pressure-Temperature Class
The pressure-temperature class of the multi-function water pump control valve is determined by the pressure rating, internal components, and the material of the control piping system. The maximum allowable working pressure at a specific temperature is the lowest value among the maximum allowable pressures of the housing, internal parts, and control pipe system materials at that temperature.
1.1 The pressure-temperature class of the cast iron housing must meet the requirements of GB/T17241.7.
1.2 The pressure-temperature class of the steel housing must comply with GB/T9124.
1.3 If the pressure-temperature class of materials is not specified in GB/T17241.7 or GB/T9124, it should be based on relevant standards or design regulations.
2. Valve Body
2.1 The flange of the valve body should be integrally molded with the body. For cast iron flanges, the type and size should follow GB/T17241.6, and the technical specifications must meet GB/T17241.7. For steel flanges, the type and size should conform to GB/T9113.1, and the technical conditions should align with GB/T9124.
2.2 The length of the valve body structure must be in accordance with standard specifications.
2.3 The minimum wall thickness of the valve body: For cast iron bodies, it should meet the requirements of Table 3 in GB/T13932-1992. For steel bodies, it should comply with Table 1 of JB/T8937-1999.
3. Bonnet and Diaphragm Seat
3.1 The bonnet and diaphragm seat, as well as the diaphragm seat and the valve body, should be connected using flanges.
3.2 The number of connecting bolts between the diaphragm seat and the valve body should not be less than four.
3.3 The minimum wall thickness of the bonnet and diaphragm seat should follow the same guidelines as stated in section 2.3.
3.4 The flanges of the bonnet and diaphragm seat should be round. The sealing surface type can be flat, raised, or recessed.
4. Stem, Slow-Closing Valve Disc, and Main Valve Disc
4.1 The slow-closing valve disc and the stem should be securely and reliably connected.
4.2 The sealing type of the slow-closing valve disc and the main valve disc should be metal-sealed.
4.3 The main valve disc and the stem must operate smoothly and remain reliable.
4.4 The main valve disc and its seat can be sealed using either a metal or non-metal seal.
5. Diaphragm
5.1 The performance of the diaphragm must conform to the specifications in Table 2 (see next page).
5.2 The appearance quality of the diaphragm should meet the requirements set out in HG/T3090.
