Standard technology for self-operated flow control valves

Standard Technology for Self-Operated Flow Control Valves
This standard applies to multi-function water pump control valves with a nominal pressure range of PN1.0MPa to PN4.0MPa and a nominal diameter from DN50mm to DN1200mm. The following are the technical requirements specified in this standard:

1. Pressure-Temperature Rating

The pressure-temperature rating of the multi-function water pump control valve is determined by the pressure of the housing, internal components, and the material used in the control piping system. The maximum allowable working pressure at a specific temperature is the lowest value among the maximum allowable pressures of the housing, internal parts, and control piping materials at that temperature.

1.1 For cast iron housings, the pressure-temperature rating must meet the requirements of GB/T17241.7.

1.2 For steel housings, the pressure-temperature rating must comply with GB/T9124.

1.3 If the pressure-temperature ratings for materials are not specified in GB/T17241.7 or GB/T9124, they should be based on relevant standards or design specifications.

2. Valve Body

2.1 The flange of the valve body should be integrally molded with the valve body. The type and size of the cast iron flange must follow GB/T17241.6, while its technical conditions must conform to GB/T17241.7. The type and size of the steel flange should comply with GB/T9113.1, and the technical conditions must meet GB/T9124.

2.2 The structural length of the valve body.

2.3 Minimum wall thickness of the valve body. The minimum wall thickness for cast iron bodies must comply with Table 3 of GB/T13932-1992, while that for steel bodies must follow the requirements of Table 1 in JB/T8937-1999.

3. Bonnet and Diaphragm Seat

3.1 The connection between the bonnet and the diaphragm seat, as well as between the diaphragm seat and the valve body, should be flanged.

3.2 The number of connecting bolts between the diaphragm seat and the valve body must be no less than four.

3.3 The minimum wall thickness of the bonnet and diaphragm seat should be consistent with the requirements outlined in section 2.3.

3.4 The flanges of the bonnet and diaphragm seat should be round. The type of flange sealing surface can be flat, raised, or grooved.

4. Stem, Slow-Closing Valve Disc, and Main Valve Disc

4.1 The slow-closing valve disc and stem should be securely and reliably connected.

4.2 The sealing type of the slow-closing valve disc and main valve disc should be metal-to-metal seal.

4.3 The main valve disc and stem must be flexible and reliable.

4.4 The main valve disc and main valve seat can be sealed using either metal or non-metallic seals.

5. Diaphragm

5.1 The performance of the diaphragm must meet the requirements listed in Table 2 (see next page).

5.2 The appearance quality of the diaphragm must comply with HG/T3090.
