- Wall thickness: A minimum of 1.2mm is recommended for optimal durability.
- Surface finish: Check for smoothness in painted surfaces and ensure PVC cladding doesn’t bubble or peel.
The sliding wheel is one of the most critical components of a sliding door. It determines how smoothly the door moves and how long it will last. Premium brands often use high-quality bearings and durable materials such as nylon for the wheels, ensuring a quiet and reliable operation. Cheaper alternatives may use inferior bearings or materials, leading to frequent maintenance or replacement.
