Fire hazards and fire prevention measures of refrigerators

Fire hazard
(1) Combustibles catch fire close to high-temperature components;
(2) Power consumption is abnormal. The power supply of the refrigerator is turned on and off frequently, so that the starting current of the motor increases sharply, about 10 times the normal value, and the temperature will rise sharply, causing the motor to overheat and burn;
(3) The inlet water of the temperature control switch is damp, causing leakage and ignition, which causes the burning of the liner and the insulating plastic;
(4) Store flammable liquids such as ether in refrigerators.

Fire prevention measures
(1) The rear of the refrigerator should be dry and ventilated. Do not put combustible materials behind the refrigerator. The power cord of the refrigerator should not be in contact with the compressor or condenser with high surface temperature;
(2) The connection between the power cord plug and the socket should be tight, and the installation of the ground wire must meet the requirements. The ground wire cannot be connected to the gas pipeline;
(3) When the refrigerator is working, do not continuously cut off and turn on the power. When the refrigerator is powered off, it must be at least 5 minutes before restarting;
(4) Do not rinse the refrigerator with water to prevent the water inlet of the temperature-controlled electrical switch from being damp and leaking and catching fire;
(5) Do not store low-boiling chemical hazardous materials such as ether in the refrigerator.
