The trial application of spring screen in production is a mine type coal-fired coal preparation plant in Henan Yima Qianqiu Mine Coal Preparation Plant. The original 8mm graded + lump coal jigging process was adopted. Because the raw coal is wet and sticky, the screening effect is not good. Screened for 13mm. As the market demand for coal quality continues to increase, it is necessary to lower the minimum wash limit to increase the proportion of washing. Through inspection and comparison, the original coal grading sieve was modified by using the spring sieve sieve plate to achieve better results.
The spring screen is developed and produced by Zhengzhou Changcheng Metallurgical Equipment Factory.
In June 2000, Yima Coal Industry Group (Company) Qianqiu Coal Preparation Plant rebuilt its original circular DD2056 and linear vibrating screen 2ZS2065. The two screens can be used in series, and the hourly processing capacity is 200t. The spring used in the sieve plate has a pitch of 4 mm and a diameter of 315 mm. After the transformation, it was put into production trial application in July 2000. After one month of trial, the screening effect was tested on site, and the results were as follows.
(1) Properties of raw coal: The raw coal of Qianqiu Mine is long-flame coal, and its coal rock is carbonaceous mudstone. It is easily muddy in water and has a very high viscosity. The particle size of raw coal below 6mm is generally about 47%. When the moisture content is more than 13%, it can be held into a group.
(2) The first test result (raw coal moisture content 12156%).
One point to be noted in the table is that each time the same coal sample taken is assumed to be subjected to a sieve classification of 4 mm or 5 mm or 6 mm, respectively, and then the screening efficiency under different prescribed particle sizes is tested. This is because the spring expands and contracts during vibration to cause a change in its pitch, which leads to uncertainty in the size of the screen. It is particularly noteworthy that although the total efficiency of the screening is not too high, around 76%, the main factor affecting the screening efficiency is the higher rate of screening. At this time, it is advantageous to wash the selected coal in the coal preparation plant and not to concentrate the coal slurry in the slime water too fast.
Service life of the spring: After the spring screen began to be used for 2 months, individual springs were broken; after 6 months, most of the springs began to break; after 8 months, most of the springs had been replaced. Therefore, the life of the spring is considered to be 68 months.
Conclusion (1) Because of the secondary vibration characteristics of the spring sieve plate, it has a strong self-cleaning ability, and has a high adaptability to the depth screening of wet-adhesive materials, so the screening effect is remarkable.
(2) The spring screen is an innovative design for the sieve plate. It can be used to modify the original sieve, and is suitable for various vibration modes such as circular vibration and linear vibration. The modification period is short and the cost is low. The damaged spring can be replaced individually, and the whole sieve plate does not need to be replaced. Therefore, it is cheaper to use and easier to maintain than other types of sieve plates.
(3) Because the rate of the upper limit of the sieve material of the spring screen is very low, and the rate of the material under the sieve is relatively high, the block (granular) coal preparation plant with lower coal slurry treatment capacity is more ideal.
