Product Description

MBT(M)-80 is a multifunctional accelerator with long plateau of curing curve, and imparts good mechanical properties to vulcanizate. It is used as retarder in non-sulfur rubber compound system, and can delay set-up of vulcanization in CR system. Many accelerators, such as, aldehyde amine, guanidine, thiuram and dithiocarbamate, impart active effect to MBT(M)-80.

Processing Characteristics

Generally, MBT(M)powderadheres to devices easily, disperses difficultly in mixing process. However, MBT(M)-80has good dosing and mixing property, and won't cake at ordinary temperature and humidity. It has good fluidity, no irritating dust and no material loss. It keeps optimal activity of MBT(M)and easily disperses in kinds of rubber compounds. Recommend that MBT(M)-80 is added at last stage of mixing.

Dosage In NR or SBR system:

            As primary accelerator, 1.0~2.0 phr MBT(M)-80 with 2.0~3.0 phr sulfur;

            As secondary accelerator, 0.5 ~1.0 phr MBT(M)-80 phr with 0.2~0.3 phr TMTD-80 and 1.5 phr sulfur;

           In curing system without sulfur: 0.5 phr MBT(M)-80 with 3.0~4.0 phr TMTD-80;

           In IIR system: 0.5~1.0 phr MBT(M)-80 with 0.5~1.5 phr TMTD-80 and 1.0~2.0 phr sulfur.

Applications

MBT(M)-80 is used for kinds of products, e.g. rubber hoses, conveyer belts, driving belts and cable sheaths, etc..
